This recipe produced a chewy and thin cookie that didn't have any gritty peanut butter flavor like some peanut butter cookies have. I used jumbo chocolate chips for some added texture and richness.
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chunks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and sugar. Add in egg followed by baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chunks.
Drop tablespoons of dough onto cookie sheets.
Bake 12 minutes. Cool on the cookie sheet.
Yields 18 cookies
